Bin Rental Terms & Conditions
Effective as of March 2026
1. Rental Agreement
By renting bins from Bin There Storage Guys ("BTSG"), you agree to these terms and conditions. This agreement governs the rental of moving bins and related equipment.
Rental Period
- Minimum rental period is 7 days
- Rental begins on delivery date and ends on pickup date
- Extensions subject to availability and additional charges
- Late returns incur $5 per bin per day
2. Customer Responsibilities
Proper Use
- Bins are designed for household moving purposes only
- Maximum weight per bin: 35 lbs
- Do not overfill bins - lids must close properly
- Stack bins only on flat, stable surfaces
Prohibited Items
- Hazardous materials (chemicals, flammables, explosives)
- Liquids, perishables, or food items
- Live animals or plants
- Illegal substances or stolen property
- Items exceeding weight limits
Storage & Care
- Keep bins clean and dry during rental period
- Store in protected area when not in use
- Do not modify, paint, or alter bins
- Report damage immediately to support@btstorageguys.com
3. Damage & Loss Policy
Normal Wear & Tear
Normal wear from careful moving is expected and covered at no additional cost.
Customer Damage
- Lost, missing, or damaged bins: $25 per bin
- Excessive dirt or contamination: $10 cleaning fee per bin
- Damage and cleanliness will be assessed within 72 hours of the bins being returned
- Bin Dolly included with rental: $35 replacement fee if damaged or not returned
Late Returns
- Bins not returned by the agreed end date: $5 per bin per day
Damage Assessment
Damage and cleanliness will be assessed within 72 hours of the bins being returned. Customer agrees to pay replacement/cleaning costs for any damage, loss, or contamination identified during this assessment.
4. Delivery & Pickup Services
Delivery Requirements
- Customer must provide clear access to delivery location
- Someone 18+ must be present at delivery
- Customer responsible for moving bins once delivered
- Failed delivery due to customer: $25 rescheduling fee
Pickup Requirements
- Bins must be empty, clean, and accessible
- Customer must be present at scheduled pickup time
- Additional pickup fees may apply for unprepared locations
Service Area
BTSG directly serves the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Delivery is available within 50 miles of Prosper, TX. Outside this area, service may be available through our partner locations (see Section 10). Orders placed outside our DFW service area are subject to partner availability, pricing, and terms.
5. Payment & Fees
Pricing
- Rental pricing is based on the number of bins and rental duration, with volume-based rates per 2-week period.
- Volume rates: 1–19 bins at $6.50/bin (2-week cap of $119), 20–29 bins at $5.95/bin, 30–49 bins at $5.50/bin, 50–74 bins at $4.95/bin, and 75+ bins at $4.50/bin.
- Duration pricing: 1–7 days are billed at 80% of the 2-week rate; 8–14 days at 90% of the 2-week rate; 15–28 days add each extra day at 50% of the daily rate; 29+ days add each extra day at 25% of the daily rate.
- 28+ day rentals: 25% discount automatically applied to the extension period.
- Minimum charge for any rental: $69.
Delivery Fees
- Orders over $150 within 10 miles: Free
- Orders under $150 within 10 miles: $10 per direction
- Beyond 10 miles: $2 per mile per direction (total distance)
Payment Terms
- Full payment required at booking
- Refunds available up to 48 hours before delivery
- Cancellations within 48 hours: 50% refund
- No-shows: No refund
6. Liability
Limitation of Liability
BTSG is not liable for:
- Damage to customer's property during bin use
- Contents of bins (customer assumes all risk)
- Personal injury from improper bin use
- Consequential or indirect damages
Customer Responsibility
- Customer is responsible for insuring their belongings
- Customer assumes all risk for bin contents
- Customer agrees to indemnify BTSG from claims
7. Force Majeure
BTSG is not liable for delays or failures to perform due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to: severe weather, natural disasters, traffic conditions, equipment failure, or other unforeseeable events.
8. Agreement Terms
Acceptance
By checking the agreement box during booking, you confirm that you:
- Have read, understood, and agree to these terms
- Are at least 18 years of age
- Have authority to enter this agreement
- Agree to be bound by all terms herein
Modifications
BTSG reserves the right to modify these terms. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website.
Governing Law
This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes will be resolved in Collin County, Texas.
9. Partner Locations & Third-Party Operators
About Our Partner Program
Bin There Storage Guys (“BTSG”) directly owns and operates moving bin rental services in the Dallas-Fort Worth, TX area. In geographic areas outside of DFW, bin rental services may be fulfilled by independently operated partner companies (“Partners”) who are authorized to offer services through the BTSG platform.
Service Area Variations
- BTSG's direct service area covers locations within approximately 50 miles of Prosper, TX.
- Partner locations operate within their own defined service areas, which may be more limited or differ significantly from BTSG's DFW coverage.
- Availability at any given location is not guaranteed and is subject to each Partner's current capacity and scheduling.
Pricing Variations
- Pricing displayed on BTSG's website reflects BTSG's standard DFW rates.
- Partner locations may charge different rates for rental periods, delivery fees, and add-ons.
- Delivery fee structures, free delivery thresholds, and per-mile rates may vary by partner.
- Final pricing will be confirmed at checkout and will reflect the applicable rate for your location.
Equipment Variations
- BTSG uses heavy-duty 15–18 gallon stackable plastic moving bins in the DFW area.
- Partner locations may offer different bin sizes, styles, or brands that meet similar standards but may not be identical to BTSG equipment.
- Weight limits, lid styles, and bin dimensions may vary by partner location.
- If specific equipment is required, customers should confirm availability directly before booking.
Policies & Terms for Partner Orders
- Orders fulfilled by a Partner are subject to that Partner's damage, cancellation, and refund policies, which may differ from BTSG's standard terms outlined in this document.
- Any disputes related to a Partner-fulfilled order should be directed to the Partner in the first instance. BTSG will assist in facilitating resolution where possible.
- BTSG does not assume liability for the actions, omissions, or service quality of independently operated Partner locations.
How to Identify a Partner Order
If you reached the booking page through a partner referral link (e.g., a moving company or relocation service), your order may be fulfilled by a Partner in your area. The booking page will indicate the local partner name where applicable. If you have questions about who is fulfilling your order, contact us at support@btstorageguys.com.
